The Missing Work Boots

I heard this story from a boyfriend.

His girl left him and moved out. On the way out she took one of his work boots.

This drove him crazy looking for his left boot, finally, after a week or two, he purchased a new pair of work boots.

But he kept an eye out and six months later they ran into each other and she came for dinner.

The night ended in a fight. So the next morning he was once again missing a work boot.

The girl had cleverly taken the left boot once again leaving him with two right boots, so he still couldn’t make a pair with the ones left behind.

It drove him nuts looking for both of them. He found out from a mutual friend what had happened a month later, but it made him crazy for almost a year.
